My recent stay at North moon homestay was a wonderful experience. The place was beautiful and very welcoming. The best part was how the owners took care of everything. They were really friendly and made sure we were happy and comfortable. They looked after every little detail and made us feel at home. The rooms were very clean and decorated nicely. The food was amazing and gave us a real taste of Indian cooking. The owners were great at making sure we enjoyed our stay. They helped us with planning trips and told us a lot about the local area. We even had great chats over tea. This homestay is more than just a place to sleep. It’s a place where you feel looked after and make great memories. I would tell anyone looking for a real Indian experience to stay here.

Best Homestay in shimla"around" This is my second visit to northmoon homestay Fagu.Homestay is run by authentic Himachali family with the support of smiling caretakers.property is not big, divided in two blocks in the same complex having well maintained 7/8 rooms.place is ideal for all travelling groups, families, couples, and solo travelers as well.big rooms are decorated with local cedar wood in pahari architecture.All the required essentials are available in the room.every room has big balcony with superb view of snow clad mighty Himalaya around the year.you can have sun rise and sunset from your bed.Fruit trees apple, cherry, apricot, walnut, peach etc are around the homestay.rooms are clean with fresh linen.Food (veg,non veg)is super fresh.land lady is master in local authentic pahari food.Homestay is located near to all the site seeing place like Mashobra, Narkanda,chail, kufri etc of shimla.overall it is a peaceful location in the lap of nature with authentic Himachali culture.

This June I had my third or fourth stay at North Moon. I have been coming back to this place for a few years now, from the time when it was perhaps the only home stay in this area and there was no metalled road. Now the road is metalled and many more home stays have come up, which has changed the look of the place a bit. But thankfully North Moon is still pretty much the same. Great hosts, beautiful view of the mountains, cherry tree in the yard and apple trees all around. Oh and the food is just incredible as it was the first day I had come here years ago. Look forward to dropping by again.
